After we all had to suffer a lot from the adverse circumstances of the year 2020, we now received a message from Booking.com that is both a ray of hope and motivation for us:
We have received “exceptional rating results” from our guests and these “the whole of last year consistently”, which is why the Hotel zur Post Riesenbeck was awarded the Traveller Review Award 2021 by Booking.com. With 9.2 points out of a maximum of 10! We feel confirmed in our actions – despite all the crisis – and truly honoured! The effort was worth it.

The Hotel zur Post Riesenbeck has a large variety of rooms with high-quality equipment. These include 12 fully air-conditioned, individually designed luxury rooms and suites (17 – 40 sqm), 2 restaurants and a bar, beer garden and street café, bowling alley, fitness gym and sauna, wine showroom, conference and event rooms for up to 200 guests with the latest multimedia equipment, diverse Art objects, high-class sanitary rooms, a barrier-free lower floor, air conditioning in large parts of the building, free WiFi and free parking spaces directly at the house.

As a boutique hotel, we have a small number of first-class rooms. A healthy and dynamic day starts with a good night’s sleep. That is why we have equipped our rooms with absolutely high quality. They rest in original Auping box spring beds, the windows and doors are soundproofed several times and the bathrooms are equipped with rain showers and natural stone slabs. A highlight are the letters from painters such as Monet, Renoir and Spitzweg, which you can admire framed on the walls as unique pieces. Enjoy your time in the post.
Discover Riesenbeck
Located at the foot of the Teutoburg Forest, the typical Westphalian village invites you to many leisure activities. You can explore the long hiking trails on foot or by mountain bike. Riesenbeck and the Münsterland region are ideal for cycling tours. The facilities on the Surenburg are considered the Eldorado of equestrian sport. Whether as a rider or as a spectator, a visit is always worthwhile. Another attraction is the so-called wet triangle. Here the Mittelland Canal branches off from the Dortmund-Ems Canal and crosses the Teutoburg Forest. You can explore the scenic spot with a walk from the hotel. Finally, you can refresh yourself in our beer garden in summer or relax by the fireplace in winter.
